“The vision and mission of Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta (UMY) can be achieved through cooperation and togetherness of all components of the academic community including in the Faculty of Languages Education” said Rector of UMY. Ir. Gunawan Budiyanto, M.P. in his speech at the Rapat Kerja Tahunan (RKT) Faculty of Language Education (FPB) in 2017.
The RKT was led by the Dean of FPB Dr Suryanto, and was attended by Vice Deans for Academic, Research and Publication Sector Dedi Suryadi, M.Ed., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Resources and Student Affairs Sector Nanang Joko Purwanto, SS, M.Pd. I and attended by Lecturers and Employees of Faculty of Language Education on 4^th Octobber 2017 at KH. Ibrahim Building E.7, Room Amphitheatre A 5^th floor.
In his speech, the Dean of FPB introduced new officials and presented 9 basic values of organizational culture that must be applied in the Faculty of Languages. Such as :

1. Trust and Responsibility
2. Togetherness
3. Honesty
4. Discipline
5. Justice
6. Introspective
7. Sincere
8. Concern
9. Professional

Furthermore, the Rector of UMY also gives instructions on the work program of both leaders, lecturers and employees so that the work program is in accordance with the 9 basic values of organizational culture that have been described by the Dean of FPB. In addition, the Rector of UMY also mentioned the issue of AIPT assessment which will be implemented in 2017. The Rector of UMY advised that all units including the Faculty of Languages Education may cooperate in the AIPT assessment in order to preserve the accreditation of University.
This event concludes with explanation and presentation from the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Sector about the target of priority IKS of academic sector 2017/2018 and from Vice Dean for Resources and Student Affairs Sector concerning budget calculation of FPB 2017/2018.
